SOMA is synonymous with superb and outstanding client service. The salon was created by owner Gilmar Oliver who
brings 17 years of styling experience, backed by a commitment to
customer service that is the guidepost of his business. Originally
an Arts Education student in his native Brazil, Oliver moved to New
York City where he worked for Vidal Sasoon. He fulfilled his dream
of owning a full-service
salon
by opening SOMA in June, 2000 on the upper east side in Miami.
